Their interview process. It all was weird. First, I interview with the with the CEO and COO. All was fine with the interview, the CEO and I had a great talk and it all went well. I got feedback via my recruiter a few days later saying that I was the only one on the list, but the managers were out of the office. The HR person was delaying a decision for some reason (first hint that something was not right). Then after a couple of weeks elapsed, they gave me a hard offer in writing (contract, hourly), but a delayed start date by 3 weeks (another hint that something was not quite right). I said that is fine, and I stopped looking for work at that point, even cancelled several interviews I had pending. Then, after 2 weeks elapsed, my recruiter called and said they wanted me to do another interview... huh? Another interview after they already signed an offer? I did the next interview, and it went well, so I am thinking this was just some oddity and I was still going to start on the date designated in the paperwork. Turns out the HR person was mostly to blame for this. She got approval from the CEO to give me the offer, and the COO was not even aware of it - this, 2 weeks prior. When I went to interview with the last person, he too was unaware that there was already a written offer. Numerous hints that this company has a screw loose. Did they all live in little boxes and never talk to one another? There are only 6 people here. So there was some internal bickering between the parties in this tiny company, and they withdrew the offer. Very unprofessional, to say the least.
