Pros

Asurint is a growing company in Cleveland with a lot of potential. The people are great, and contribute to a product that could change the way the background screening industry is run. The office is laid back and casual. Depending on the career you want, you have the ability to grow into other roles if the shoe fits.

Cons

First, I want to be able to change this review in a few months. I want to be able to see that the issues happening are going to be addressed and fixed, I truly do. I believe this company can be, and do better. So far, that hasn't happened. Can we attribute this to growing pains? Maybe. Leadership has lost sight of what made this company great in the first place - its people. The culture is completely non-existent anymore. Most coworkers are cheering each other on and helping each other out rather than hearing it straight from leadership with exception of mandatory town hall meetings. In fact, the two people in leadership who matter most are barely ever in the office, as they live mostly in Texas. Many of the teams get special treatment over other teams. Teams are not aligned in vision and mission or how it fits into overall goals and strategy. It's like everyone is in their little silos and not communicating with others.

Pros

The culture here is collaborative, inclusive, and empowering. From day one, I felt I belonged and my input mattered. Leadership values every voice, balancing innovation with respect. If you want to grow, be heard, and feel part of something meaningful, this is the place.

Cons

The company’s tendency to try to make everyone happy can lead to unrealistic expectations.

Pros

A great company for anyone looking to grow their career in a supportive, flexible (remote), and engaging environment. The culture is collaborative and people-focused, with managers who genuinely want to see their teams succeed. The company continues to expand and refine its processes, and while communication can sometimes lag behind the pace of growth, the overall direction and opportunities make it an exciting place to be. We have a competitive benefits package, with recent improvements like additional paid vacation time. I work on a wide variety of projects and encounter challenges which helps keep my work engaging and I build new skills.

Cons

The fast pace and shifting priorities can be stressful at times. Strategic direction and long-term vision aren’t always communicated clearly across teams. Some organizational changes can feel reactive rather than proactive as the company continues to scale.
