Pros

- Good opportunity to learn, especially new grads

Cons

- Management do not invest in their workers - treats everyone as disposal - Would rather have people quit and train new staff than deal with issues in the company and pay people better - Physically and emotionally taxing job - especially during busy season - Pay barely above minimum wage - Management willingly hire people they know will clash with other employees and do not think are right for the job - If you are good at your job you are expected to do far more work than others to pick up the slack for those that refuse or avoid to do their job - Health and safety complaints ignored or when listened to barely anything is done about it

Pros

The nature of the job makes it feel like you're in a uni lab environment, which makes it fun and easy to make friends. Everybody is nice.

Cons

Having worked in different roles here, I think the pay to expectation ratio for some of their roles are out of proportion and could do with some revisions. Though I love working with my team, it is difficult to look past all the operational flaws in place with the way we do things around the testing space. It's hard being the middle man, balancing customer expectations, where there are so many potholes stopping us from achieving that. E.g. inadequate staff training, untimely communications, not enough staff, system limitations etc. There are a whole list of great change ideas, but nothing gets implemented fast enough around here, and they always cry about budgets.

Pros

The people that work at Asure Quality are great and it's a really team-oriented environment, everyone puts in effort and you don't have to pick up on slack at least most of the time. Communication between departments is good.

Cons

The company can afford to continue large building projects, but the annual salaries for workers are not reflective of New Zealand inflation.
