Pros

Astek France is on a right track and restructuration launched few years back are starting to be fruitful.

Cons

Astek France is led by a talented CEO with a clear vision, a strong track record and who brilliantly restructured the group locally. Unfortunately, due to some internal political argues, Astek France and Astek International don't communicate at all, meaning the International branches get no support from the Group. For Astek International : - Worst Top Management ever seen - Total Absence of vision, leadership/charisma, strategy, creativity - No Team management or empowerment - No corporate culture - No follow up, coaching or training - Complete lack of ethics and respect towards the consultants who are just considered as disposable products. If a project ends, don't expect a bench period or a training, you will be fired straight away if no other project available immediately. - Fragile financial situation and dangerously low cash flow. 3 CFO in less than 2 years - Total misinformation about numbers (revenues, employees, countries, growth). Every numbers are inflated, Operations in some countries are not even existing. - Huge Turnover from Branches Managing Director (3 MD in 2 years for Canada, 2 MD in 1 year for UK - only managed by a HR now, 1 MD for 3 months in Turkey, 2 MD in 2 years in Dubai) - Unethical and disrespectful top management : Employment Contracts are not honoured and bonuses not always paid. - No appraisal cycle, no reviews, no guidelines, no HR policies - No one will help you to grow at Astek International, you will be left on your own by the customer - Last but not the least, do not expect any salary increase after you join them.

Pros

It pays well, hires you quickly, finds you interesting project, and can train you through paid trainings. A lot of young people, a good place to develop your technical skills but also relationships with interesting colleagues

Cons

The priority always remain to perform the work for your customers. So sometimes you have to work extra hours, either late on weekdays, or eventually on saturdays
