Pros
Assurant is very laid back to work at. It is family oriented, slow paced. Low stress environment, so people are overall nice. Time-off is quite decent, 14+ days per year. The salaries are above average. The cafeteria is ok.
Cons
If you are eager to learn and develop, this is probably not the place for you. People are settled in their own ways of doinng things. It is very bureaucratic, and overall no incentive to excel. As long as you are physically present for 8 hours/day you'll get to keep you job.
