Pros
I worked a 6 month contract to hire through Associated Staffing. They were on top of all the business details and recruited me for a job that was a bit of a stretch but that ended up working great. I liked the integrity of the hiring process, honest and straight forward. They checked in to make sure things were going well, hired me based in my local area to avoid tax complications, negotiated my asking rate and made sure I got paid. They were flexible about end dates of the contract when that worked out. This was my first time contracting and it was a good way to start. Benefits would have been available if I had wanted to stay as a contractor.
