Possibly long term work with an initial 35 year contract, If you get a better work benefits package than you previously had, good luck to you: work for Aspire Defence Services Ltd. Aspire did give a better yearly increase to cope with CPR/APR than the MOD.
Cons
Transferred from MOD to contractors who subtly eroded terms of conditions, Aspire created resentment within the workforce, paying direct hired staff hugely inflated salaries compared to transferred MOD staff. All staff told it represented differences in pension and less holiday. MOD staff had been educated to a much higher standard than supervisors, managers and a senior manager who enjoyed stating he'd 'failed his eleven plus exam and left school with no qualifications' he can't spell the name of the company he represents! But considering huge profit margin and what the CEO received, the pay rises were insulting to staff and was company imposed at times.
