You will be equipped with skills such as ECG, nebuliser and UBT. Most CAs and CMs are really fun and easy to talk to. Also, whatever you read here, its true but take it with a pinch of salt. If you decide to join, all the best.
Cons
A huge shoutout to the roster people. If you stay at the east side, count yourself lucky because they wont throw you to somewhere far. Central staff are so unlucky because they will throw us to the west side and doesnt even give any heads-up. No courtesy or whatsnot. We get it no manpower at the west side but a basic courtesy of asking if we are okay to go to the west area would be nice. Train other staff to do rostering because it seems like two people from east side are not considerate to other sectors. Take someone from the central or west. Solo shifts if you are posted at central and west. In short, you vs 20-30 patients in 5 hours. Some east clinics do not need 2 CAs because their trend of patient count at night is less than 20 patients. But no, they get as many staff as they want leaving other sectors doing solo shifts. It drains you out. Just train someone from central and west to ensure unfairness in rostering. We get it, no manpower. Also family day doesnt mean you get an off day. You will have to work either morning and/or night shift. Your family day starts at 1pm to 4pm. They make it a huge deal to want to know the staff when all the staff doesnt see the need to attend the "family day" if they have to work. Just close down the clinics for one day. Wont hurt anyone. Blame CAs for everything. I get it some are our fault but they like to pinpoint to CAs and expect us to remember what happened on certain dates. All of us are already stress working there because of patients verbally abusing us, coworkers that are there just for display and it leads to most CAs having bad anxiety, anger issues and irregular sleeping and eating habits.
