Pros
The Asian Business Association of Los Angeles has given me the opportunity to connect with very influential and inspiring people. Being relatively new to LA, it was crucial for me to surround myself with the right people who will help me grow both personally and professionally. I have been with the team for 5 years and am still very happy with the job. Management is great and definitely shined through during COVID when we all had to work remotely. They provided us with the necessary equipment to keep us going. They are also very flexible with our schedules, especially when personal emergencies come up or whenever we have vacations lined up! Though it is sometimes hard to wear many hats given the small team and being a nonprofit, the job rewards us with great workplace culture and good management. Plus, it is extra fun being at LA nonprofit events every so often!
