Pros

* Flexible work hours, start and finish times (if you have a genuine need). * Great colleagues. * Many opportunities to work on varied and interesting projects. * Opportunity to work overseas (legal and specialist support staff only)

Cons

* Following the merger the culture really changed - it became more London- and Sydney-centric. * Encouraged to expand your duties (temporarily but became permanent) for no real increase in salary. * Few promotion opportunities - you need to leave to advance. * Found that many positions were not advertised and were instead filled by management's former colleagues. * Social events all but disappeared. * Culture has changed and now feels like everyone is scared they'll lose their job (outsourced to Glasgow office or externally, or consolidated in London or Sydney offices)
