Decent Firm but Micro- Managing Leadership Personalities Made it Hell - Anonymous employee Ascella Technologies Employee Review

Pros

Small firm so direct connection and communication with higher level management. Incentive structure is par with a lot of other firms in the DMV area.

Cons

Many of the leadership members work on client site too and at times like to micro-manage staff. I worked directly with one and overall I thought all was well one year into the project until I realized after one mistake on a slide deck (for internal review) that this leadership staff began to start demanding things that felt retaliatory. After two attempts to try to address the issue, I decided to part ways. The HR department is useless to addressing issues so don't bother. The firm is very frugal so if you are coming from another firm or big 4, you will be disappointed with happy hours and/or Christmas events.
