Pros

The best reason to work in Arvato Finance in East Point Business Park is you'll most likely be working in one of the teams which struggle to kill time, you normally finish your daily quota in two hours and then you can do what ever you want while pretending to work. Office culture: built on gossip and act cool for the ladies. Benefits: The free snacks membership with lynda.com are the only benefit I'm aware of. Personal growth: Don't even think about it.

Cons

Promotions: again, don't even think about it, you not allowed to apply for any position before six month employment and I only hear from people who's been working for arvato for 1 or 2 or 3 years its all about who you know.or who likes you. Time-off policy: you request time-off and you'll get it unless you team manager does not like you, in which case you'll not get most likely, but I have to say that most but not all team managers are the same. Work-life balance: the working shift is 9hrs and many departments have to work on weekends and other they get no Irish bank holidays at all (depend on the market).

Pros

Great company and good employees

Cons

This is one of the worst places I have ever worked. They do not care about their employees here; to them, you are just another number. They get upset when you use your sick days, even though they are a legal right, and then retaliate against you by punishing you when you return to work. And be careful about filing a complaint with Human Resources because they are two-faced. Instead of helping you, it often ends up backfiring on you. That is why no one feels comfortable going to them. This company does not appreciate or value its employees unless you have connections or favoritism. Management, starting from the top, has no clear direction. Everything constantly changes, even when it is not the best option, simply because someone higher up decided it. The environment feels outdated and authoritarian, like something from another era. There is a lot of hypocrisy, resentment, and abuse of power.
