Pros

It would be a great help desk starting job. Learn how to handle office politics and how people act in the work place. Learn the basics of IT. Okay pay for location, but not okay for how many IT positions you will be doing.

Cons

No room to grow. (You will stay in your position forever)Do not stay here for a long time. Old school mentality. Will refuse and will "fight "to advance in technology. Doesn't even have core basics like a Ticketing system. Very top heavy lots of bosses. Always on call with no extra pay. You will work for free here or they will fire you and there is zero overtime available. No raises for doing good or making the company millions of dollars. No other incentives either. If you take time off all of your job duties will still be there and they will pile up and if not completed (like you were not off) then you will be wrote up etc... Being mentally numb is the nest way to survive here. Advice document everything to cover yourself. Do not sign off on anything always make management make the decisions. If your name is on it they will pin it against you. Management however can do "no wrong" even if it is a bad decision.

Pros

You get to do so many different things, lots of exposure for experience.

Cons

Management is terrible. They know almost nothing about IT but make all of the decisions, and often they are the wrong decisions. They do not care about you. I saved the company over $150k working by taking over as a project manager (not my job) and they did not reward me in any sense and could care less. You wear many hats and are compensated horribly.
