Pros

The free lunch on Friday's was nice. The training was in depth but didn't help much in terms of understanding a sales cycle. Technology was top notch.

Cons

No work-life balance at all. There is nothing wrong with working hard and having a long week. However like previous reviews have stated, this company gets very upset when you want or need to take time off. They also will push you to work more than 50+ hours a week minimum. Arrive is yet another 3PL that is choking and killing the trucking industry. People at Arrive don't treat carriers or individual driver's with any sort of respect after the sale and call have ended. As a former driver, I found it incredibly insulting the way a bunch of kids would talk about grown men and women doing the physical work for them. There is a clique culture like most offices but it's very dog whistle at the office in Chicago. If you aren't "in" you will never get "in". Arrive tries to look different from the outside but inside they are the same as any other 3PL. If you are trying to get logistics industry experience right out of college I suggest you look anywhere and everywhere else in the industry before going to Arrive or any other 3PL.

Arrive Logistics Response

Hello! First and foremost, thanks for sharing this feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve, and we learn best from those who have spent time as an Arrive employee. I would like to address some of your observations and experiences here! Glad you agree that our technology is best-in-class. Our software is one of the things that sets us apart from other 3PLs. We strive to be very transparent about the hours this role entails. Our 50+ hour work week is an expectation set in the hiring process, the training program, and on the sales floor. We know this schedule is not for everyone, but it should not come as a surprise to those who accept a position with us. Arrive Logistics knows that without our driver partners, we could not thrive as a business. We aim to spread this mentality across the company, so to hear that you’ve overheard anything but respectful conversations with drivers on the sales floor is disappointing. This will be addressed, and we will continue to go great lengths to strengthen carrier relationships. I have included the link to an article about David Rivers, our SVP of Strategic Partnerships who recently tagged along with a driver to experience the road for himself! https://www.freightwaves.com/news/the-freight-movement/celebrating-drivers Thanks again for your review - we wish you the best!
