Pros

- remote company - young company with chances to make a difference

Cons

- lots of passive aggressive gaslighting - profoundly inexperienced CEO - terrible pay, was told the opportunity to work here is valuable enough - released product before proper QA which made support incredibly stressful - CEO changed their mind CONSTANTLY about almost everything making goal setting near impossible

Pros

You can make an impact quickly. New tests and pilots get off the ground quickly. Great people - almost everyone comes from the fitness industry or is incredibly passionate about fitness. Everyone is incredibly helpful and generous with their time. Leadership is great at giving autonomy. I'm 4 months in and I've done public, private, series B > E, 2000+ employees, 50 employees so I've seen a lot. Based on my interview experience, Arketa is exactly what I expected , and I'm loving it!

Cons

We're doing well, but we're still series A. We don't have a 401K yet, but we'll get there. Not a con, but we move quickly and you have to keep up.

Remote, paid time off is available.

Cons

God it was so stressful, they always were moving targets and adding more and more to your plate and so much stress FOR NOT ENOUGH PAY. They have training but the training is awful to where you feel ill equipped to do the job. And no 401k benefits at all. It’s just so much stress, with such little pay. Don’t apply. Additionally we had “live chat hours” where you have to respond within 1-3 minutes and can’t get up for your desk for over 4+ hours at a time. I would work on Sundays and they would have me be on a live chat shift for 7+ hours …… not able to get up for that long is so inhumane.
