Great experience, training and SAP on other well know system. Good opportunity in some areas if your manager help. Trying to take into account the employees well being.
Good if you are lucky and get along with your boss. Not much can happen otherwise.
Cons
Old fashion management, not easy to move up if your manager doesn’t want you to. Focus on to getting new employees. But not enough is done for those already there.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Arkema. We are delighted to learn that your journey within our company has been enriching. The well-being of our employees is a top priority, and we strive to create an environment conducive to everyone's growth. However, we regret to hear that you have encountered challenges related to a management style that is sometimes perceived as outdated, as well as obstacles in your professional advancement due to lack of support from your manager. Please, do not hesitate to reach out your HR representative.
I really loved working for Arkema. They are a very fair company (sometimes a but too liberal with work/life balance, i.e. taken advantage of) and treat employees very well. The work, although repetitive, was interesting.
Cons
The manager that hired me was great. Then he moved up and I got a manager that "knew everything" and shot down almost any idea I had. His boss was pretty unfriendly and expected miracles in order to promote/give out raises. This is pretty typical of any company, you just wait for bad mangers to move on, or you move on if you can't take it. I moved on.
Great people
Great opportunities
Willing to give more responsibility/grow
Good work life balance while also still having good drive at work
Cons
Not a lot of cons, everyone is very understanding and the small office could be a downside for resources, but personally did not find that to be an issue
