Pros
Arkadium was and still is the best thing that has ever happened to me professionaly. Has a very transparent culture with fierce drive, positive energy and living a full live as their core values, and you can actually feel them! This is a company where everyone is proud to work for a common goal, and everyone is helpful to achieve even further success. Although there are some timezone challenges, I feel like everyone does their best to be as close as possible to their colleagues. This is a company where you feel a good career prospect since the day you start. Your performance is measured to KPIs and if you do your best you’re for sure going to be rewarded for it. Your peers want to see you grow, you learn a lot and in my case after only one year I got promoted to Software Engineer. Management is super transparent regarding the company’s profitability, and they are also trabsparent about every team’s performance.
Cons
As mentioned above there are of course some timezone limitations, however I never felt really blocked by different timezones. You may wait a couple hours for a specific colleague’s response but you can always find that answer elsewhere.
