Pros
Lots of great opportunities to learn essential skill and do exciting things. It's a great starting point for someone pursuing a career in sports. Fun people to work with. Free meals. Get to go home early afternoon.
Cons
No pay. All internships are 100% unpaid. Decent amount of intern "grunt work" like cleaning and heavy lifting. Practice days during the week start very early in the morning. Gamedays are 12-hour work days with little amount of breaks and chances to sit down andeat, but that's what you sign up for. It's football culture so perfection is expected and you will be screamed at when you make a mistake. Was disappointed in the lack of networking and job opportunities that were provided after internship ended.
