Pros
Strong culture of mutual support and respect. Professionalism of department (certainly the team I worked in). Good management. As with any review there should be the caveat that my personal experience may not necessarily be reflected by others in different departments under different management.
Cons
Inevitable and interminable change can cause upset and can be unsettling. That said good management can mitigate this. The culture and ethos of a company stated may not necessarily be reflected by all managers and departments. So I cannot state my experience was universal.
