Pros

Their projects are cool in theory-- the idea behind some of the documentary work is solid. And the freelancer they work with are good, professional people. However, the CEO only cares about his bottom line and is pretty unethical. A well stocked fridge and cool office is a perk, and the people who work there are actually very cool individuals, for the most part.

Cons

They will promise you things only to go back on them later. At least 3 people that I know of were laid off/fired because Arcos over-spent on its production budget and couldn't afford to sustain it's employees-- which is hilarious because they pay employees hourly, and not a great wage. Also, employees are still technically "contract workers" for tax reasons, although the IRS makes it clear that if you work full-time for a company and are bound to their location (like you are at Arcos), you should qualify for a W2. It's also poorly managed, and micromanagement is the status quo.

Cons

offices are kinda cool, but kinda crowded. too few parking spaces some say (good reason to ride your bike). phone system could be better. in the middle of town, so its close, but trafficky
