Arconic Davenport Works is the flagship plant of the company, and is a stressful and chaotic environment. Not enough training and too much responsibility thrown onto new engineers, with little support system because everyone is spread so think. Raises were nothing more than cost of living increase. Promotion structure is lacking, and forces people to go into production if they want to rise in the company or get bigger pay increases. Also, process engineers will get calls 24/7 and end up working some nights or weekends.
