A great place that nurtures great architects - Senior Designer Archilier Employee Review

I've been working at Archilier for about three years and I absolutely love it. Kai is one of the best bosses I've ever had. He comes into the office each morning with a smile on his face. My co-workers are exceptionally kind and we embrace each other like family. Archilier is a diligent relaxed environment even when approaching deadlines, which is a plus in my book. It's an honor to be an associate of such a GREAT firm. Teamwork makes the dream work.

One con is that I can't think of one.

For a young firm of 8 years this office has amassed an amazing portfolio of high quality, small to very large projects. It has repeatedly beaten out a number of world renowned architectural firms from London, Copenhagen, Rotterdam and NYC in competitions. It operates under a collaborative process so that if you are a young aspiring designer you have a chance to realize your aspirations. I feel that the negative comments here require a response. I can say with absolute confidence that the “Cons” comments here by a few are simply naïve and not true. An I.T. Department of one person is not “a large I.T. Department”. ALL architectural firms work long hours when necessary. “Stupid supervisor”?? It has a low staff turnover rate so that says something about working here. Having worked for 40 years I can honestly state this is one of the best firms I have worked at and my seven years here is testament to that.

Nothing comes to mind. Some of the other review Cons comments are simply false.
