The environment is nice, the customers were cool and the place itself is really chill.

You will be manipulated by management. You will not be compensated or recognized for any extra work that you do, whether that work is voluntary or requested by them. In fact, the manager will most likely take credit for your work and then throw you under the bus later. They will make empty promises and treat you like you're below them if you're not at their beck and call and kissing their a** every day. HR will do nothing to help you if you need it. Management will lie to you, lie about you, and lie to the higher ups. Management has bullied me and many other coworkers that I worked with to the point that a lot of us quit together. The pay is low for the work you're doing. You're practically running the whole shop by yourself, doing sales work, preparing food and drinks, cleaning the entire store, stocking the entire store and taking inventory of all of the products and only getting paid $10 an hour for it. It's a scam and it's not worth it. Also they violate multiple health codes and do not care about the safety or well-being of their employees.

Easy Work, Friendly Staff, Decent Customer base

I was repeatedly not given my contracted hours and the management didn’t care for anyone’s wellbeing despite being advertised as their top priority.
