Pros

There were a handful of very talented and good people.

Cons

It's hard to know where to begin, but with every train wreck you look at the people responsible. The leadership at Arbinger is non-existent. Calling it a disaster would be giving it credit it doesn't deserve. It consists of people handpicked through either nepotism or favoritism, who have no experience for the important role they are in and it shows. There is no strategy, no direction, and no goals to help guide the company in any sort of way. You’re measured on a false pretense of “how you’ve impacted others” which you can’t possibly quantify. It’s as if those in charge in the company are winging it day by day. Constantly flip-flopping between "strategies", projects that make no sense, and zero alignment. Departments are separated and do not communicate with others on important decisions or changes being made. They do know how to do one thing right, and that’s talk. Which they do a lot of and get absolutely nowhere with. You will find yourself inundated with pointless meetings that lead to nowhere and provide little direction. Massive egos, white male dominance, pride, nepotism, favoritism, ineptitude, and a complete lack of competence are what you will find at Arbinger. There is a glaring lack of integrity at every level. No one seems to have a moral compass. It's an environment where mediocrity is celebrated. A few other major things.. Teams have little structure around the role, expectations, and supporting processes. You will be accountable for your own growth and development. You will be under paid for whatever role you're in. The suit of products is woefully underdeveloped and there is no clear value or proof to any of it. And just when it might seem like it’s in a good place, they’ll change it. Data is not used in any way to make decisions. Decisions are made based on someone's thoughts or feelings OR the attitude of “papa knows best”. Change is a foreign language here. There is no reasoning, communication, or awareness to it. Things will change on the fly and you will be forced to adapt. If you ask why, you won’t get an answer. When things are going bad, they won’t talk about it and there is no backup plan. The employees will pay the price. The company has encountered 2 massive layoffs in the past handful years due to poor planning, lack of strategy and execution, an inexperienced and inept leadership team, and a complete lack of ownership and accountability at the top. Stay away from this company. As someone who has seen good people come in and little as the back half of 2024, put in everything they have working extended hours, only to be laid off months later with no notice whatsoever. This is how they operate and will continue to operate as long as those who are in charge are there.

Pros

The team's synergy was unparalleled. Values alignment all-around. The company practiced what they preached in terms of an outward mindset. I resonated strongly with the company's mission. Great feedback loop from management.

Cons

Unsure if any of these have improved since I left: Male-dominated leadership. Strong opportunity to expand strategic decision-making, streamlined processes, and automation. Unclear growth paths.

Pros

Arbinger has profoundly changed my perspective on workplace culture. From day one, it's been clear that this organization stands out for its authentic and deeply caring leadership. The leaders at Arbinger don't just talk about the values they teach—they live them. It's inspiring to see leadership so genuinely invested in the growth and well-being of their people. One of the most striking aspects of the Arbinger culture is the emphasis on. People are focused and hard working for sure, but my manager has really helped me grow and that’s been true for the people around me too. The environment fosters open dialogue where everyone feels encouraged to share their ideas and feedback. It’s rare to find a company where you can feel like you truly belong and are seen as both a person and a professional. The culture here is also incredibly fun and upbeat. There’s a real sense of energy and enthusiasm and it’s a place where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. Whether it's through team-building events or our regular team meetings (I’m remote), the atmosphere is always positve, which makes it easy to stay engaged and motivated. I’ve really appreciated that people are encouraged to think outside the box while still staying true to the core principles that make Arbinger unique. What stands out most about my time at Arbinger is the sense of being seen and supported. For the first time in my career, I feel like my personal and professional growth is genuinely valued. There’s a deep commitment to helping employees develop not only their skills but who they are and that holistic approach makes a big difference .

Cons

2+ years in and I haven't experienced a downside yet.
