Pros

The pay is competitive and vacation time is offered, which is a plus. However, it's crucial to negotiate properly from the beginning, as the likelihood of a raise is slim, and if one does occur, it tends to be minimal.

Cons

Aquent expects new hires to hit the ground running from day one with little support. Additionally, despite the increasing workload, overtime is discouraged, leaving employees feeling strained, especially when dealing with unreasonable client demands that seem to prioritize the client over employee well-being.

Pros

Some nice intelligent educated coworkers

Cons

Lack of transperancy, job placement wages stagnant for over 5 years with no raise, after finishing multiple contracts and bringing them thousands of dollars with my labor, no follow up on new positions. Finally contacted me about one position I would be perfect for then ghosted me. Blatant ageism using words like "junior" or "great position for recent grad". Had one horrific experience with them where they reached out to me to work on a team that loved me/loved my work - when I inquired if there was any flexibility in the pay, was suddenly told I wasn't qualified. Then I see the same listing reposted as "junior" and great for a recent grad.
