The biggest issue on the manufacturing side of the company right now is that the owner has no clue how he is being lied to constantly by his "special" employee. This employee is one of the laziest people who takes 3-4 hours of breaks per day to BS with people, then claims that his work needs to be done after hours to inflate his OT. This employee is essentially living out of the facility and the owner cant see how he is being taken advantage of not to mention how it is probably not legal for occupancy issues. This employee constantly takes all the credit for anything that goes right, but will deflect any responsibility for any failures. For example this employee has been told numerous times that a SOP needs to be made (which has led to multiple instances of incorrectly mixed product), but instead he focuses on things like a completely unsafe 12' tall tote dispenser made of wood, not bolted to the floor, that could have been purchased from any manufacturing supply shop (these things are not "unique" and "an amazing engineering marvel". This employee wasted thousands of dollars of material through his stubbornness when a production machine was not calibrated correctly for pressure, and instead built a BS system to dry out the pre-product (which was not the problem), which could have all been fixed if he had just correctly reached out the machine manufacturer. This employee has created a completely divided production floor who are in fear of losing their job because one brown-noser has the ear of the owner. I am sure the owner will completely disregard this as he is so brainwashed that his inside man would never lie to him and its all just haters. If one person in the room is constantly being complained about, lets not believe the feedback, instead lets start a witch-hunt to grind down every other employee who is trying to make this place better.
