Pay and benefits aren't stellar, but not bad, either

Incompetent management, resulting in poor staffing decisions, numerous reorganizations, constant fire-fighting mode, employee burnout. Management does not have the vision or a plan for long-term success. Middle managers are more concerned about their own ambitions than they are with the overall success of the company and its employees.
