Pros

The people at April Six are what makes you want to get up and go to work everyday. The people are extremely talented, kind, and fun to be around. It's a small agency, with big clients, so you really have the opportunity to wear a lot of hats and make your role your own; it's an environment that encourages you to break down the silos between departments, to try new things and sometimes fail, but mostly succeed. I'm thankful for my time at April Six because I was really challenged, I learned and grew exponentially, more so than I believe I would have at any other agency.

Cons

Unfortunately, while it's a fantastic environment, it is poorly managed, which leads to excessive work hours, and under-qualified people assuming roles they need more guidance to perform. So much so that it often holds back the team from really allowing their creativity to flourish.

Pros

Felt extremely valued as an intern, as management focused on retention with an employee first mentality!

Cons

Honestly no cons, as management was extremely accommodating!

Pros

Most people were nice and kind. My manager was okay and as supportive as they could be. It wasn't the worst place to work.

Cons

Leadership and new business management felt non existent. Truly did not feel secure with that team leading the ship. did not feel heard or like my insight mattered. Scopes never made sense and were so vague and their clients take advantage every time. Absolutely no boundaries. It's comical. Often times the work they were doing might as well have been free. You wonder why profits are low and clients jump ship to better agencies?!
