What I enjoyed the most at Appselec was the friendships made with colleagues. It was a tough environment which forged a level of camaraderie as we felt like we were all in it together.
Cons
The management team at Appselec are unfortunately stuck in the 1980s. No working from home allowed here! The office is open plan with the executives in a glass walled office overlooking the employees. If your not at your desk then your not doing productive work. Approval is required from upper management for everything. There is no trust or faith in employees to complete their work to a satisfactory standard. The culture looks to blame individuals rather than addressing the actual issues. Anyone who has worked at Appselec will be aware of the group emails from the executives that are regularly circulated that include size 50 bold red text barking instructions. These emails are forwarded around the industry for a laugh out how poorly employees are treated/valued.
