Pros

Location in SF is convenient

Cons

Working at appsflyer was a toxic work experience for me. My experience with HR was not good - When I went to them about the issues and concerns I had, they used it to retaliate. Management was mostly white, Israeli males. They needed diversity and inclusion training. If you interview with them, I suggest asking for a breakdown of the leadership team and figuring out how many of them are non-Israeli men. There was a underlying tension with the HQ office in Israel that management fostered. It was exhausting to constantly feel at odds with my colleagues. I was even asked to report/tattle on what was going on in my office to HQ but felt uncomfortable. Management looked the other way when employees treated others inappropriately, I was hired to be a buffer between my difficult and disruptive manager and the employees in my office. I wish they disclosed this to me when I interviewed. I was talked to inappropriately but was not given constructive criticism on how to improve. I felt bullied.

AppsFlyer Response

Diversity and inclusion remains a company priority in our hiring and all of our other policies. Trust and transparency is an important AppsFlyer value. It's part of the reason that following the company engagement survey, we shared the results with the entire staff. I'm sorry you had the experience of interpreting your role to report/ tattle. This is in stark contrast to our values and not something we have seen or heard of before. We do however encourage an "Open Door Policy" where everyone can speak to anyone, including Oren Kaniel our CEO and Co-Founder. Dialogue and feedback are always welcome because learning and curiosity are also company values. We never know where innovation will come from.

Pros

For someone that has money to play with a wants to make more, maybe.

Cons

I got ripped off for more than $300! They tell you that you can make money but what they don’t tell you is that you must have money! You must pay out of pocket for at least 2 tasks a day. First it was $50, then $100, then $300 and the last time was $800 which I did not pay! Once you complete the tasks for the day they pay you in bitcoin through PayPal in my case or Cash App which I had to open an account with. They use whatever you earned in bitcoin for the next task but you have to pay out of pocket for the rest of the order if you didn’t earn enough in bitcoin. The last day I worked I had nothing in my Paypal and nothing in my Cash App but I had to pay $800 out of my pocket to complete the task! I didn’t have it. And if you don’t complete the tasks, you don’t get paid. I paid over $300 of my money and deposited back to my bank account $14.25 (sign up bonus) and $9.21! And each day the tasks cost more. They tell you that you will get a refund plus a profit for what you dish out immediately. I didn’t. Maybe for someone who has thousands to play with and wants to make more, it may be a good job. But for a retiree that has only social security for income and needed an extra income to make ends meet. it is not. Now I am out $300+ and can not pay my bills this month!
