- Smaller teams allows ability to have a direct impact on the project - Smart people to work with - they challenge eachother - Most engineers are willing to have a healthy debate on technology choice - Employees know their roles. e.g. Managers don't make engineering decisions.
Cons
- Some gov contract work is unpredictable - Technology stack is somewhat limited on most projects
