Pros

N/A nothing to add here

Cons

The main problem with this company is that employees improperly treated and are not paid consistently or on time. While there are many other issues—such as no occupational trainings or support, disorganization, micromanagement, no room for growth, and generally unprofessional business practices—the most serious problem is the failure to pay employees when they are supposed to be paid. The president is rude and often refuses to pay former and current employees. Many employees turn to file claims through the Onrario Courts and Ministry of Labour in order to recover wages Applied Precision 3D needs to pay.

Pros

Good opportunities for learning. I worked on B2B Digital Marketing post-pandemic. I was new to this industry. Bob was patient, he provided the good resource to learn, including the engineers and the clients. As result, I ended up with delivering quality marketing materials to the market and a pay raise at the end of the first year.

Cons

Competition is intense for a company size like this in the local region. Projects are often bidding at a lower price due to competition. Overall, clients are demanding - you have to learn how to manage the expectations.

Pros

Everyone I worked with, minus the owner, were great, hard working and team oriented

Cons

The main problem is the president does not pay. Although there are numerous flaws to the company (lack of training, disorganized, micro-management, zero room for growth, unprofessional business practices to name a few) the main issue is not paying the employees on time or at all. I can get by with all the cons as long as I get paid, but working there and taking all the cons WITHOUT getting paid for it is extremely tough for ALL employees. President refuses to pay when the money doesn’t come in for that month, which is very often. Employees get fed up and leave and are at the mercy of the ministry of labour claims to retrieve your pay (not without the CEO kicking and screaming to the ministry of every excuse in the book why he shouldn’t and will not pay past employees)

Thank you for your comments and input. It is unfortunate that your experience with our company was not as positive as hoped. We strive to maintain a supportive, challenging and professional work culture. Regretfully there were some managers in 2024 that did not support these values and are no longer with our Team. We do wish you all the best as you pursue other career directions for yourself. Again, thank you for taking the time to post your views and suggestions for improvement. If you wish to discuss anything further with company management, you are welcome to call us at 905-501-9988.
