Pros
1. You get to work with a great team, with a fairly friendly environment. 2. The client base is also very impressive and understanding of the FMCG industry can surely multiply by many folds, if you take enough interest in the business aspect of the projects, in addition to technical or performance requirements. 3. Fair hike and quarterly incentives.
Cons
1. Freshers/New joinees (with some experience as well), will find it difficult to adjust as the documentation of already deployed work is not very well maintained. The onboarding process needs to focus more on hands-on learning rather than theoretical lectures. 2. Multiple dependencies for even the smallest tasks, involving a lot of to and fro communication across all teams, which can undoubtedly add to frustration at times. 3. Bare minimum respect for time-offs and personal time. As an Applicate employee you are expected to be available at all times, even if you are on a leave. It takes a lot to prove that you are genuinely busy with some personal work and cannot take calls or respond to texts at times. 4. After working for 9-10 hours in office, you may have to work another 3-4 hours via calls, and additional 4-6 hours on weekends (apparently offs), which are not really accounted for. 5. Uneven distribution of work. There is a lot of business but lack of proper allocation of work, which causes more burden on some people than others.
