Pros
-hours are okay not to long 8 hours shifts. -get training hours to go over anything staff are struggling with - management care aslong as you show your able to work with them and follow procedure. - nice relaxed atmosphere, not much pressure aslong as do what is expected of a cashier(upsell, ID30) -applegreen extras you can get good discounts and vouchers for various stores. - offer great opportunities for progression(started as cashier, been upto manager then back down to deputy)
Cons
-Run stores on low hours unless training so may not get cover for sick which can lead to working longer hours as manager. - communication from upper management can be short notice for some tasks - hard to balance work and social life as manager. - not many cons as cashier but this is due to individual site manager and can vary from site to site. Had no issues with any site manager.
