Akron Tax - Toxic Culture - Anonymous employee Apple Growth Partners Employee Review

This firm has major culture issues in its Akron tax department. I cannot emphasize enough what a nightmare it was to work here. Reading over the reviews on this site, it has obviously been a problem for a few years now. I can confirm, it's still that way. There is still a clique in the tax department that loves to gossip and harass other people in the firm. It looks like HR reads these reviews, which is good...you've still got issues with the same people in your tax department who have caused trouble before. And please don't reply to this that you wish I brought it to your attention, because I did before I left. Anyone at the firm reading this will know exactly the group of people I am referring to. They aren't staff level either; it goes all the way up through senior manager. So. Much. Gossip. This is an unprofessional and immature place to work. The men have conversations that go way over the line, and the women are very dramatic. The string of recent positive reviews here feel like they came from HR or upper management. If you're considering working here, don't.
