Appian is a fast-growing company full of intelligent, collaborative people. Easily the best workplace culture I've been a part of. The product, our low-code automation platform, is considered one of the best in the industry and we help major global companies solve their complex challenges. It's so much easier to enjoy work when you believe in the product. Most importantly, Appian is full of opportunities to make a real impact. The company is still maturing, and younger/newer employees are given a lot of responsibility right from the start. High starting salary, unlimited PTO, and free Ubers to and from the metro station seal the deal. If you're looking for software industry jobs in DC/Northern Virginia, Appian should absolutely be on your list.
Cons
The Tysons HQ office is really nice, but the traffic congestion for commuting is rough. And no walkability to restaurants/stores once you're on the campus.
