Appian Response
10yThank for your kind words and advice. We get a lot of questions about going public, it obviously generates a lot of excitement -- and a few concerns. It's worth remembering that Appian is not a typical tech company. Because of our success in self-funding for so long, we are in charge of our own destiny. We have always run Appian with a sustainable fiscal discipline that affords us the right to put our clients and employees first and no IPO will ever change that. Instead, if we do go public, it will be to grow our culture, never diminish it.
We are very interested in keeping our already low turnover rate low for all employees -- entry-level and senior. Just like we founders are deeply involved in hiring, we review all departures for patterns and trends. People here can already earn more vacation just by tenure -- and most stay at Appian for five years or more. We are always adding new benefits and open to new ideas like the new Commuter Benefits we just added last month that will especially help newer hires.
