Pros

Friendly, compassionate, and well trained coworkers. Opportunity to practice career that I thoroughly enjoy. Supervisor flexible with schedule/ hours. Affordable insurance with full coverage with ARH facilities.

Cons

EMR- beneficial to some departments but not all. Frequently shuts down and experiences erroneous errors. Not user friendly by any means. Pay is significantly below national averages and rather than compensate qualified Appalachians for their services the company outsources work. Lack of communication and follow through by management with employees ideas, suggestions, and concerns. Lack of opportunity for growth or advancement within the company. Disconnect between administration/management and employees makes for an impaired work environment- sometimes sacrificing quality for quantity.
