At ACS you really get great experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. You’re able to service a community who otherwise may not be able to get mental health services.
The team members are great. Management has changed around a lot in the past year and this has been a positive.
Cons
It’s very easy to get burnt out. Which is easy to do in the community mental health world. You have to learn to say no and have boundaries.
Don’t take on a role unless it is something that you truly want to do- like an enhanced service.
The pay structure changed within the past year some people like the change others do not care for it.
