Pros

A big part of what AppBus does involves integrating applications. One of the more rewarding parts of the job is the sheer variety of technology I get to work with. AppBus's own technology is also really exciting. It's kind of like workspace aggregator, meets robotic process automation meets Zero Trust architecture. It allows customers to deliver a cohesive workflow to any edge device without access to the original source code for the applications involved. This allows me as a Sales Engineer to have higher level discussions about business processes with customers and prospects. I've sold technology in the past that has added a lot of value to the engineering teams involved, but tying the technology's value back to the core, revenue generating business was always a challenge. With AppBus there's often a direct connection between the platform's implementation and some important revenue generating process. That makes the sales part of the sales engineer role a lot easier. In terms of culture, despite the management team's impressive pedigree, there are no "big egos", which isn't always common in tech. Everyone is really approachable, respectful and willing to try new things as the company grows.
