Leadership often communicates inconsistently—or not at all—leaving employees confused, unsupported, and hesitant to speak up. Favoritism and blame‑shifting are common, which erodes trust and makes collaboration difficult. Instead of fostering growth, the environment drains morale and motivation, causing high turnover and burnout. Even strong performers eventually feel undervalued and emotionally exhausted.
