Weak leadership and fake sense of care - Software Engineer Apiiro Employee Review

Pros

Some of the developers are strong, HR people are fun

Cons

The VP R&R lacks communications skills, constant ignoring and “forgotten” one on ones that led to a failing team that just puts out fires and doesn't develop anything new. There is no plan on employee for improvement or retention and you just get the feeling that you must walk over others to gain anything. To sum all the experience it felt like nothing is good enough, there is no plan and the r&d management is unable to work with the actual developers in good relation.

Pros

Good teammates, HR that cares, decent logos (from “ceo relationship”, no adoption). Front line managers are great people. Marketing team is excellent. HR has responded incredibly to war (for Israeli workforce).

Cons

CRO is so so bad. In over his head and can’t even fake it. Goes to events, golfs, attends “how to cro” webinars, and anything to avoid engaging with sales team. Within 6 mo. 85% of the sales team was laid off, founding Sales Engineers left, but no other changes were made. None. Except insisting that CEO, CRO, CPO, SE, manager, rep all join every intro call since June. Our desperation is obvious. Zero communication to the sales force except to call “guys, this is critical” fire drills to urgently do something nominal, like send an event email. CEO also thinks salespeople are dumb.
