Pros

- Great work-life balance and a really supportive environment. - Employee feedback loops are excellent. Management genuinely asks for suggestions every quarter, and these are discussed in quarterly planning meetings. - The company culture here has genuinely transformed for the better, (especially compared to some of the older reviews you might see). The team has worked incredibly hard to build a positive workplace, with initiatives like our DEI and Professional Development committees, and focus groups for our Employee Net Promoter Score reviews to discuss feedback and decide on new initiatives. - When I was considering joining, I was initially concerned about some of the old Glassdoor reviews. After being here for over a year, I can confidently say those old allegations couldn't be further from the truth. - We're a full-time remote company, which offers great flexibility. - Benefits are great, including generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and a 6-week paid sabbatical after 5, 10, 15 (and so on) years of service. - The people here are truly the best. Everyone is helpful and genuinely wants you to succeed.

Cons

- Since it's a smaller company, you'll need to be comfortable wearing a lot of different hats. - It's a very innovative and entrepreneurial, which might not be the right fit for everyone. - Some processes are still evolving as we grow.

Pros

Apex is a great place to work with benefits that are hard to beat (almost 5 weeks of PTO, employer-paid health insurance, and a 6-week paid sabbatical after 5 years of service)! Leadership has been flexible and understanding, while offering great mentorship and support. The culture is fast-paced and rewarding, with constant opportunities to give your input, make changes, and learn new skills. Employees are encouraged to lean into their individual strengths and take ownership of projects and initiatives that they care about. The people here like to work hard. There is a high standard for excellence and a sense that everyone wants to succeed and put their best foot forward. At the same time, the company culture prioritizes having fun, getting to know your colleagues, and acknowledging what's going on in each others' personal lives.

Cons

It's a fast-paced environment and a smaller team, so you'll always be busy. This creates a lot of excitement and opportunity, but could potentially overwhelming for those who prefer a slow pace of work.

Pros

Very competitive pay plus bonus pool sharing at the end of the year. great benefits! 401k matching, paid health premiums, dental, generous PTO, Gym/wellness reimbursement, and more. Fantastic colleagues. The services team is made up of truly brilliant, hard working, and capable individuals. One thing that isn't pointed out frequently on this page is how great our clients are. If you have worked in client services before, you know that certain industry's have extremely tough clients that make your job... well... not fun. As intimidating as this industry may seem if you've never worked with Private Equity, our clients are excellent. They are kind, complimentary, and typically very reasonable. They do have high expectations and rely heavily on us for their internal processes but that is expected.

Cons

If you're expecting quick advancement, this may not be the company for you. We are a small company, so promotions are not always readily accessible. If you are willing to put in the work, not slack off or cut corners, maintain a positive attitude, and have little patience, you may get promoted as we grow, but it most likely will not be a quick advancement. The role of a client services manager can be difficult but rewarding. The pay reflects that. If you are looking for an easy job with 0 pressure then this job is also not for you! You can cut corners for a little but, but it only usually creates more work for your colleagues as they pick up your slack. Prepare to work very hard some days, while having slower days as well. The balance is great though, and makes for a good work/life balance.
