Pros
Joining this company was like stepping into a blank canvas with full creative freedom — and that was the beginning of something truly special. As a Principal Staff Engineer, I had the rare opportunity to build the software and AI team from the ground up. It wasn’t just about writing code — it was about shaping vision, defining structure, and fostering a culture that could scale with purpose. The trust placed in me was something I’ll always be grateful for. I was empowered to lead full-stack initiatives, create robust AI pipelines, and design systems that went from idea to real-world impact. The autonomy here wasn’t just a slogan — it was a way of working. What made the journey fulfilling was the people. I had the chance to mentor, collaborate, and grow alongside a team that cared. Even after deciding to pursue a study, I was supported with a great plan that allowed me to continue contributing to the company’s growth. And one thing that never changed — and truly anchored the culture — was the leadership at the very top. The CEO remained grounded, clear, and inspiring since day one. Through all the changes, he stayed true to the company’s purpose. For me, he wasn’t just a leader — he was (and still is) a role model of integrity and purpose-driven leadership.
Cons
Like any growing team, changes in direction and leadership dynamics can shift over time. Toward the later part of my journey, some internal changes made it a natural point for me to step back and focus on my next chapter. That said, I still hold deep respect for the mission and the people who shaped my experience here.
