I was always encouraged to participate, contribute and even own projects. The business is continuously evolving and it's cool to work with a nimble team focused on finding new ways to accomplish a collective goal.

It can be hard to measure outcomes if we pivot resources in a new direction too often. It can be hard to find a balance between experimenting and scaling when that happens.

If I had to pick something, the salary wasn't terrible.

Honestly, the onboarding was basically nonexistent. Like, you show up, get a desk, and then... nobody tells you anything. No training, no real direction, no mentor assigned, which honestly get old real fast. You're just left to figure everything out on your own through trial and error while people expect you to already know how things work. I spent weeks trying to piece together basic processes that should've been covered in day one. Everyone's too busy or doesn't care enough to actually help you succeed, and that's on them, not me.
