Pros
A company that takes care of its people first and foremost. I approached them with the need to take a month off of work for another commitment. Not only did they agree to allow me to cover some of the time with unpaid leave, but they gave me an extra week of PTO for all of my contributions to help offset my loss of pay. The company also moves its folks onto other projects whenever possible if they're stuck on a project they're unhappy with.
Cons
Once in a while, the company lacks some flexibility in placing folks onto new projects simply due to the projects/contracts available. They try to mitigate this by building in backup plans for folks, but it's still a reality of having folks working on contract.
