Salary is much lower than average compared to other similar tech companies for the work one does. Ansys should stop comparing salaries to similar companies but instead to similar roles.
Job growth is very slow and only Tenure based.
Not as easy to move around in the company and this norm isn’t really present so it takes a lot to try and move internally and if you do want to do something different then it’s a step down in salary.
Many employees are overworked as Ansys tends to be more lean and they underpay. Over the years transparency from senior management has also reduced. I fear.
Ansys might soon suffer in innovation as there isn’t much time to spend on experimental projects. A lot of time gets spent in paperwork and projects are mainly decided by the senior leads and PMs.
Lastly Ansys’ parental leaves a lot to desire when compared to other tech companies.
