The field team works really hard and is always willing to help.
Cons
The building is falling apart. The roof leaks during the rain, and this is where they manufacture electronics. The hot water does not work, and the plumbing is bad. The carpet is worn out, and the fluorescent lights are mismatched.
The base pay is okay, but there are more shutdown days than PTO days. The end result is you have to take unpaid time off. Bonus are often not given out for various reasons. Temporary pay reductions, furloughs, stop of 401k matches, and no other incentive such as stock options. Overall, the pay is far below the standard. They changed their health insurance because they did not want to pay the high premiums. They changed the plan to have less coverage to keep the spending down.
There is a strong culture of "this is how things was done in the past. I know better than data" . They only want to hear success and never talk about failure. They also do not treat people fair. They will pile on work and reduce to give promotions while promoting another right away. They silo information as well. Within the company, they think other parts of the company are out to get each other.
