Pros

I'm currently working at Anomali and have been impressed by the company’s strong focus on AI-driven innovation in cybersecurity, which makes it feel like you’re working on technology that’s genuinely shaping the future of security operations. There’s a strong sense of building something differentiated in the market, especially with the move toward agentic AI.

Cons

The pace can be fast, which comes with the territory of pushing innovation, but it’s also what makes the work engaging and rewarding. You’re constantly learning and adapting as the technology evolves.

Pros

A paycheck. You will get to know good people who are your colleagues through co-misery. The Anomali employee recovery groups are going strong.

Cons

The CEO claims to be a servant leader. He is far from a servant leader. On a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being Not At All A Servant Leader and 10 being A Real Servant Leader, the CEO at Anomali would rank a 1. He does not listen to people with real expertise and puts his advisors on many projects. They end up undermining Anomali leaders and people. Employees are afraid of the CEO because if they speak up and speak logic and facts, they will be ousted. He doesn't get the truth about the business, because it appears he doesn't want it. It's a mystery to many leaders who have come and gone. The CFO runs the business on a shoebox-under-the-bed budget. Growth is not a thing at Anomali, on any level.
