Pros

I worked at The Anniversary Inn and found the experience very unorganized and stressful. Management often changed schedules without warning, and payroll was wonky. My hours were reduced after clocking out, and direct deposit was never processed correctly, even though it was set up weeks earlier. Employees were required to clock out for 20 minute breaks that were unpaid, which is not in line with Utah labor law. HR communication was minimal, and questions about pay or scheduling went unanswered. I was also rushed into a management promotion discussion with no clear structure, raise, or proper training. Expectations were confusing, and the property felt constantly short staffed and disorganized. In early October I discovered a shot glass with alcohol behind the front desk while a company executive was on site, which raised serious concerns about professionalism. Pros: Beautiful property and kind guests

Cons

Payroll and communication issues Unpaid short breaks Lack of organization and support Unprofessional conduct on site

Pros

There is nothing at all

Cons

I worked at The Anniversary Inn for 10 years, and 6 months with the new management Oceanic Enterprises, and I cannot recommend it. The atmosphere was consistently hostile and toxic, with poor communication a lack of support from upper management, and a constant sense of being overworked and underappreciated. Micromanagement was the norm, leaving little room for autonomy or creativity. Employees were overworked, and often expected to take on excessive responsibilities without additional compensation. Favoritism was rampant, leading to a clear divide among staff and creating a competitive, unhealthy environment. Ordering and resources were frequently cut, yet when issues arose, the blame was shifted to employees rather than addressing the underlying problems. This created a stressful atmosphere where morale was low. Additionally, the company’s financial mismanagement was evident, as they frequently failed to pay vendors on time, which affected our operations and reputation. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I left feeling undervalued and burnt out. It was an exhausting experience that I would not recommend.
